Here are just a few of our favorite Mount Washington bike trails in the area. Maps of more trails not mentioned here are available at the shop, or call and we can send one to you. Below you will find road ride descriptions as well.
Red Tail Trail – This trail has become a North Conway legend! Located off of Hurricane Mt. road this 3.5 mi trail rides great both up and downhill. There are a number of ways to ride this trail, you can ride up Hurricane Mt. Rd to the Black Cap trail head, ride the Black Cap trail to the Cranmore access trail on your right, follow the connector for approx. 100yds *pay attention* and look on your right you will see the sign for Red Tail Trail, let rip. Please be aware there may be people walking or riding up this trail. You can also access this trail for a great climb by parking at the shop and a short road ride up Hurricane will bring you to the trail head. Going up Hurricane you will go past an intersection at Kearsarge Rd. another 1/2 mi or so on the right you will see a dirt road with a cable gate. Follow the road up and to the left around the water tower. You are now on the trail please be aware there may be people ripping down hill and have fun. Check out video!
Sticks and Stones – A great trail for riders of all abilities. There are some amazing rock features/ drops and trails around the features if you don’t feel spry. Parking is located off of Artist falls at the Pudding Pond area parking or ride 1 mike from our shop.

Mineral Site Trail and Cedar Creek area – Passaconway Rd to High St. on the right. Parking on High Street at the top of the Fire Road. The Mineral site trail is a great technical single track ride that has both climbing and exceptional down hill sections and the lower single track sections will loop you through technical sections for hours. Also out in this area you will find trails such as Upper and Lower Stony Ridge, The Electric Loop, Tent Boulder Trail and more! It is best to have a map for this area to really appreciate it.

Lower Nanamocomuck – This trail is great for a variety of riding abilities intermediate to advanced will have fun on this rolling single to double track. The trail parallels the Swift River with beautiful views and some challenging bridges and mud sections. Located off of Bear Notch road on The Kanc highway side or also accessible off of Passaconway Rd at the covered bridge.
